Description When installing STP connectors or information outlets, in order to ensure the grounding wire can be effectively covered and contacted, professional low-voltage technicians usually use copper strips. However, because copper strips has poor ductility, it is prone to creases or breakage, leading to material waste.
T3 has officially introduced high-tech conductive fabric, which is lighter, thinner, and far more ductile than copper foil! It is very easy to apply, and its conductivity is no less effective than copper foil. Pre‑cut sizes are just right for one‑time use. Whether it’s connectors, information outlets, or expensive modular connectors, it can be applied.
T3 Copper Fabric Strips for RJ45 Shielded Connector Grounding Achieving low-impedance 360-degree grounding is critical when terminating shielded (STP/FTP) Ethernet cables to ensure reliable protection against Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). T3 Copper Strips are engineered to optimize the grounding process by creating a broad, continuous conductive bonding surface between the cable braid/drain wire and the metallic plug shell. |
